Applebee`s in McAllen

Real good food customer service excellent..

Dirty Drity Dirty....Found food in the booth we sat at.Not just like fry or any its was 2 pieces of chicken tenders and and a shrimp... come on........Had a very small drink options they had no coke no sweet tea no Dr pepper. The food was cold.They need lots of work on all ends

This is the first time we go since everything with COVID-19 began. I was glad too see that everything was just like before, except now they are taking all necessary measures to make sure we all remain safe.

Loved the server and all staff made my daughters birthday extra special

Always down with the half price appetizers but this time I got a steak medium rare and it came well. I do not like it so tough but I ate it anyways and got sick. Not only that there menu is really reduced they dont even have wonton tacos. Overall not a good experience this time but im sure they will get the hand of reopening after this pandemic quarentine closure.

The service was great and the food was very good. Clean place enjoyed our time there. They're are keeping up with the 6 ft. Apart at their booths and tables.

Wind down after a long week of work with a cold one and some good food..great atmosphere

Waiter and waitress were cool that why a 3 star. But come on we order the strawberries and yogurt because how it looked in the pic on the menu. This is what we get come on jot even close chef

Awesome dinner at Applebee's saw all the sanitizing of tables bar chairs n rails after people leave .great job Applebee's south Mcallen

One dish had too much seasoning, and the other dish was bland. Both dishes had shrimp, but they were a little stingy with them. Appetizer was great! Spinach and artichoke dip! Yumm!!

The menu and drinks were delicious and consistent with visiting any other Applebee’s location. The service at this location however, was absolutely embarrassing. There were several times we had to search for our server so we could get helped. Finally we were offered an option between trechas or beer salt for our beers and were charged 50 cents. Never in my time visiting Applebee’s have I experience service this terrible. Will not be returning.

Hostess was very rude when we requested a booth. She stated that they have seating arrangements and she flat out refused to seat is in one that was empty. We really wanted a booth, so she took us to a dirty one, even though there was a clean one in sight. The booth had water one it and while waiting for our waiter, the hostess passed by and started cleaning a booth behind us and just left ours dirty. She definitely did this out of spite. We got upset because of this and just stormed out.

I've come here for over 3 years to celebrate many memorable moments and anniversaries, but up to this point I'm not sure it's somewhere I would come anymore. I ordered 3 simple appetizers to enjoy and the food came out stale and dramatically dry with barely any favor. I dont know if it's the cook or the food but no doubt I'll be waking up with a stomach ache.
